What a fantastic opening weekend at Croft for Mazda Motorsport Club UK! We welcomed the return to the grid of Jon Halliwell and what a return it was – taking the quickest time in Quali and winning Race 1 on Saturday and doing the double winning Race 2 on Sunday! It was a close-fought battle as always with Paul Roddison, well done Jon. 
Sadly after racing this weekend Jon has informed us that he will not be racing for the foreseeable future. We wish you well Jon, get yourself fit and I’m sure you’ll be back before we know it!
This year we welcomed a number of new drivers, many of them who had never driven Croft before! Well done to all of you, we know you had an extremely enjoyable weekend.
Thanks to Croft, BARC, the marshalls, the medics and everyone who makes these events possible and finally congratulations to all our competitors who took part this weekend, you should all be proud of yourselves! We look forward to more of the same at Donington on the 22/23rd of August!
